Who stole the beach? (Where is King Canute when you need him?)
We have been here a few times and caught the high tides. Today the sea came so far up there was no beach left. Everyone retreated to the beach bar to watch the spectacle. Cars ran the gauntlet of spray to get out of town.
Ha Ha, we witnessed the same thing at Centianes beach last week. Towels, clothes & people all getting very wet, accompanied by much screaming and scrambling up the beach.
